It is a non-diving certification, making it open to divers and non-divers alike.

Prerequisites & Safety
✓ Experience: No prior experience or dive certification required.
✓ Minimum Age: None (open to all ages).
✓ Career Path: Pre-requisite for PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster.
✓ Currency: Certification must be updated every 24 months.
The EFR Experience
The Emergency First Response (EFR) course will boost your overall confidence and increase your capability to respond and assist in case of a medical emergency. Guided by our experienced instructors, you’ll build your skills in easy-to-follow steps in a stress-free learning environment at Sensui Dive Resort.
The course focuses on two main areas:
Primary Care (CPR) You’ll go through all the steps and techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies. You’ll practice skills for aiding patients who aren’t breathing or have no heartbeat. You’ll learn how to perform CPR, control serious bleeding, manage spinal injuries, and treat patients for shock.
Secondary Care (First Aid) You’ll learn how to provide first aid that eases pain and reduces the risk of further harm for patients who are not in immediately life-threatening situations. You’ll have plenty of practice in injury and illness assessment, as well as bandaging and splinting techniques.
